About this lot

Issu de la distillerie Scapa, située sur les îles Orcades au nord de l’Écosse, Scapa Glansa est un single malt au caractère à la fois doux et subtilement fumé. Son nom, Glansa, signifie « ciel orageux » en vieux norrois, en hommage aux paysages sauvages des Orcades. Vieilli en fûts de chêne américain puis affiné en fûts ayant contenu un whisky tourbé, il développe un profil aromatique élégant et équilibré. Le nez dévoile des notes de miel, de vanille, d’agrumes et de fruits du verger, relevées par une délicate fumée. En bouche, la texture est ronde et gourmande, mêlant caramel, fruits mûrs, épices douces et une tourbe légère, avant une finale longue, chaleureuse et subtilement saline. Un single malt accessible et raffiné, idéal pour découvrir l’univers des whiskies légèrement tourbés, signé par l’une des distilleries les plus septentrionales d’Écosse.
